Southeast Chicago Chamber and SSA #50 transform available spaces into pop-up, urban experiences by combining the talents of Chicago's most creative minds to feature art, music, and so much more as a way to attract people and investment to the Calumet Heights - Avalon Park communities of Chicago.

This year’s series of xSite! events explore concepts of art that’s been long overdue for the community. Whether art is through music, writing, dancing or play, the murals will be enhancements contributing to public improvement and be a vehicle for the community to express its identity as family, stability and prosperity.

The murals will imbue power, significance and elevation--connecting people, culture and commerce in a way that transcends. These public mural painting events are sure to

engage the people and leave an indelible mark about Calumet

Heights - Avalon Park. We say to the world, "Rethink how you

see our community."

Our next xSite! experience takes place at 9020 S. Stony

at Envision Unlimited. Our partnership with Envision provides

persons with disabilities or other special needs a venue to

showcase their products as resident artists of the community.

Textiles, quilting, ceramics and drawings will be for sale. Buy

from the resident artists. The proceeds go to programs of Envision Unlimited. Support the Envision Art Studio.
